On March 15, 2025, the Great North Muslim Community gathered for our second Grand Iftar at the Great Park Community Centre. This year's event was even more vibrant and heartwarming than last year, reflecting the growth and spirit of our community.
With around 140 attendees, the tickets sold out in under two hours—a testament to the enthusiasm and unity of our members. It was a truly blessed evening filled with gratitude and reflection during this holy month of Ramadan.
The evening began with a warm welcome, followed by a delightful array of food, the Maghrib prayer, and a showcase of our community activities and charitable initiatives. Esteemed trustees shared insights into our ongoing projects and the progress towards our vision of building a mosque.
We also highlighted the children's activities, which have been flourishing over the past months. The sense of togetherness and shared purpose was palpable, making the event a resounding success.
Overall, the Grand Iftar was an excellent reflection of our community's spirit and dedication. We look forward to many more such gatherings in the future.
